Forty-nine Student-Athletes Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes
Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) proudly announced the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for spring sports. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the spring sports who have excelled academically, including baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, track and field, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's volleyball and women's beach volleyball.
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards.
Culver-Stockton College boasted 49 Daktronics Scholar-Athletes in the seven fall sports sponsored by the institution.
Baseball and softball had over half of the Daktronics Scholar-Athletes named with 16 and 14 scholar-athletes, respectively. Women's track and field had seven scholar-athletes while men's track and field totaled six scholar-athletes. Men's volleyball garnered three scholar-athletes, women's ;lacrosse two scholar-athlteds and men's golf one scholar-athlete.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference led the pack at the conference level with 644 scholar-athletes. The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference followed with 628 scholar-athletes.
