
Meny, Barreto Named to All-Heart Baseball Team
Culver-Stockton College place two players on the 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference Team, the league announced Friday morning.
First baseman Tristan Meny and catcher Bryan Barreto both earned honorable mention accolades for their play throughout the 2025 season. Meny was named honorable mention for the second straight season, while Barreto was recognized for the first time in his career.
Meny, a senior from Columbia, Mo. (Battle HS / John Wood CC), played and started in 44 of the 46 games played by the Wildcats this season, batting .328 with five doubles, six home runs and 24 runs batted in. He collected a team best 45 hits and scored 29 runs.
In 31 conference games, Meny was even better, registering a .354 batting average with five doubles, three home runs and 15 runs batted in. He recorded 34 hits in 96 at-bats and scored 24 runs.
Barreto, a senior from Vega Alta, Puerto Rico (Jefferson College), appeared in 43 of the 45 games, making 41 starts. Barreto garnered a .313 batting average with 41 hits in 131 at-bats. He registered eight doubles, a home run and 24 runs batted in.
In league play, Barreto appeared in 31 of the 32 games, hitting .333 with seven doubles, one home run and 21 runs batted in.
The Wildcats, who ended the regular season with a 21-23 overall record, including a 15-17 mark in the Heart of America, are currently playing in the Heart Tournament in Ozark, Mo. C-SC is scheduled to play at 10 a.m. this morning in an elimination game.
