Men's Soccer Can't Find Mark in Shutout Loss to Ottawa

The Culver-Stockton College men's soccer team is still searching for its first victory of the season after dropping a 3-0 decision to Ottawa (Kan.) University Wednesday night at Ellison Poulton Stadium.

The Wildcats, who fall to 0-2-2 overall, totaled 11 shots in the game with Riccardo Fornasari leading the way with three exceptional shots but only put one of frame. Gino Buffa, Ruben Reinertsen and Ethan Wilkinson-Felgate all registered two shots overall. 

C-SC goalkeeper Tom Freear faced 12 shots on goal and made nine saves to keep the Wildcats in the game. Ottawa garnered 22 shots overall.

The Wildcats are slated to return to action next Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
