Bio

• Beginning ninth season as Culver-Stockton's head coach in 2024 making him the second-longest tenured football coach in program history
• Has a 29-52 overall record in eight seasons, including an 8-3 mark in 2021. The eight victories set a new single-season record for victories
• Named AFCA-NAIA Region 3 Co-Coach of the Year in 2019.
• Named Heart of America Athletic Conference North Division Coach of the Year in 2021.
• Has had 104 all-conference performers, including 34 1st team and 43 second team selections.
• He has had five AFCA-NAIA All-America selections including current Tennessee Titan Andrew Rupcich who was named to the first team in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
• He has had twoe Heart Freshmen of the Year (Andrew Rowe in 2019 and Kaden Thomas in 2024)
• Off the field, he has coached 69 Daktronics/NAIA Scholar-Athletes, including 22 in 2022 and 20 in 2023.
• Spent 11 years at the University of Saint Francis (Ill.), the last two as defensive coordinator.
• Named Mid-States Football Association Midwest League Assistant Coach of the Year in 2015.
• Coached special teams during his first nine years at USF.
• Guided special teams unit in 2012 that produced 10 two-point conversions - the most in the NAIA.
• Prior to USF, spent four years coaching football and basketball at Bloom Township High School in Chicago Heights, Ill.
• Spent one year as head freshman baseball coach at Lincoln-Way Central High School.
• Started coaching career at Highland High School in Ewing, Mo.
• Earned master's degree in special education from University of Phoenix in 2005; and in administration from Concordia University in 2006.
• Earned a bachelor's degree in education from Culver-Stockton in 2001.
• Graduated from Thornton Fractional North High School in 1997.
