Women's Soccer Suffers Road Loss at Park
The Culver-Stockton College women's soccer team dropped its fourth consecutive game with a 2-0 loss at Park University Saturday afternoon in Parkville, Mo.
The Wildcats, who combined for just six total shots in their last two losses, did put pressure on the Pirates Saturday, finishing with 10 shots in the game. However, the marksmanship was off with just three of those shots being on frame.
Meanwhile, the Pirates registered 13 shots overall and six on goal. Park scored one goal in each half.
C-SC, which started the season 5-0-1, has now lost five of its last six games to drop to 6-5-1 overall and 1-5 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The Wildcats will enjoy a week off before hosting seventh-ranked Central Methodist University next Saturday, Oct. 12, at Ellison Poulton Stadium. Game time is slated for 5 p.m.
