Bio
Dan Mahoney serves as the faculty athletic representative at Culver-Stockton College. Mahoney is a lecturer in sport management and has been at Culver-Stockton since 2013.
Mahoney earned his Bachelor of Arts in business administration and sports management from Monmouth College in Monmouth, Ill. He also has earned a Master of Science in sport management from Western Illinois University and a teaching endorsement in physical education from Quincy University.
Mahoney has experience teaching sport management, exercise science and physical education at the collegiate level, including holding faculty and staff positions at Quincy University, Blackburn College and Southeastern Community College. He also works as a physical education teacher and activities director for Midwest Academy in Keokuk, Iowa. In addition, he has coached varsity and junior varsity basketball at Keokuk High School for the several years.
Dan lives in Keokuk with his wife, Elysia their two children.
