Lorrie Peters Named November's Student-Athlete of the Month

Culver-Stockton College senior basketball player Lorrie Peters has been named the Missouri National Guard Student Athlete of the Month for November.

Peters, a -5-foot-10 guard from Edina, Mo. (Knox County HS), is a four-year letterwinner with the women's basketball team. She has appeared in 83 games to date, scoring 212 points, 139 rebounds and 53 assists. This season, Peters has started all 10 games played by the Wildcats, averaging 4.7 points and three rebounds per game.

Off the court, Peters is an athletic training major with a double minor in health and sport management. In six semesters, she has been named to the dean's list two times and the honor roll three times. Peters is currently the president of the Culver-Stockton Student Athletic Training Organization (SATO) and a member of the Missouri Athletic Training Association (MOATA) council. In addition, Peters is a member of the Chi Omega fraternity for women.
