Kati Davis Named Student-Athlete of the Month for January

Culver-Stockton College sophomore Kati Davis has been named the Missouri National Guard Student Athlete of the Month for January.

Davis, a 6-foot forward from Owensville, Mo. (Owensville HS), is in the middle of her second season with the women's basketball team. Through 20 games, she is averaging 10.3 points and 9.2 rebounds per contest. Davis has recorded 12 double-doubles in her career, including six this season, and netted a career-high 24 points against Graceland (Iowa) on Jan. 30.

In her career to date, Davis has played in 49 games and netted 415 career points (8.5 ppg) and 405 career rebounds (8.3 rpg). She has averaged 24.7 minutes per game during her career, and is shooting 45.3 percent from the field (159-351).

Off the court, Davis is a biological chemistry major with a minor in business. In three full semesters on the Hill, she has been named to the President's List (4.0 GPA) all three times. Last month, Davis was named to the Capital One Academic All-District 3 second team selection in the college division.
