Chris Neal Named Student-Athlete of the Month for March
Culver-Stockton College senior Chris Neal has been named the Missouri National Guard Student Athlete of the Month for March.
Neal, a golfer from Monmouth, Ill. (Monmouth-Roseville HS / Carl Sandburg CC), is in his final season with the men's golf team. The Wildcats' top golfer, Neal turned in a solid fall season and finished with a stroke average of 75.9 per round. He recorded two top 5 and four top 10 finishes during the fall. Neal played 13.5 rounds during the fall season, carding a 79 or better 12 times. He twice carded a low round of 71.
In his first tournament during the spring, Neal shot a 74 in the opening round of the Graceland Invitational at Mozingo Lake Golf Course in Bethany, Mo. He finished in a tie for 15th in that event.
Off the course, Neal is pursuing a degree in sport management and business. In five semesters at Culver-Stockton, He has been named to the President's List one semester and the Dean's List four semesters.
