Danny Carroll Named Student-Athlete of the Month

Culver-Stockton College senior Danny Carroll has been named the Missouri National Guard Student Athlete of the Month for April.

Carroll, an outfielder from St. Clair Shores, Mich. (Lake Shore HS / Kaskaskia CC), is in his final season with the base team. Carroll is leads the Wildcats in batting average (.349), hits (68), runs (45), triples (8), hit-by-pitches (15) and stolen bases (17). Defensively, Carroll has made just one error in 115 chances in right field, and has 13 outfield assists. He was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending April 13, and has been named to the All-HAAC team as a first team selection.

Off the field, Carroll is a human health and wellness promotion major. Upon graduation, he wants to work as a performance coach at Startling Line Health and Fitness. He has been named to the President's List one time and the Dean's List two times in his three completed semesters on the Hill. Carroll is also a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society.
