Brittney McMahon Named Student-Athlete of the Month

Culver-Stockton College senior forward Brittney McMahon has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for October.

McMahon, a communication major with a specialization in public relations from St. Louis, Mo. (Hancock Place HS) has played in 72 career games to date for the Wildcats over the last four years. She has recorded 31 career goals, which is ranked third on the school's all-time list, and 12 career assists, which ranks sixth on the school's all-time list. McMahon also has 10 career game-winning goals, including a team-high four this season.

This season, McMahon has netted seven goals and registered six assists for a team-high 20 points. She was named the conference offensive player of the week after the week of Oct. 5-11. McMahon has been named to the all-league team the previous three seasons, earning second team honors in 2012 and 2014, and third team honors in 2013.

Off the field, McMahon has been named to the President's List one times and the Dean's List three times. She is currently the Editor in-Chief of the school the newspaper, the Megaphone, and is involved with the C-SC chapter of the American Red Cross. In addition, she is a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma social sorority and has been inducted in to the Lambda Pi Eta honor society.
