Culver-Stockton College guard Brianna Marzette has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for December.

Marzette, a senior from Beloit, Wis. (Beloit Memorial HS / University of South Dakota) is a four-year letterwinner with the women's basketball program. Marzette has appeared in 81 career games for the Wildcats, scoring 500 career points and pulling down 194 career rebounds to this point in her senior season. She has averaged 6.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in her career.

This season, Marzette is averaging 10.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. She has started all 19 games this season, scoring a career-high 16 points against Mount Mercy (Iowa) on Dec. 17.

Off the court, Marzette is a double major in criminal justice and sociology, who earned a perfect 4.00 grade point average last semester. She has been named to the President's List (4.0 GPA) three times, and the Honor Roll (3.20-3.49 GPA) two times. In 2014-15, Marzette was named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
