
Baggett Named April's Student-Athlete of the Month
Culver-Stockton College golfer Hunter Baggett has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for April.
Baggett, a junior Palmyra, Mo. (Palmyra HS), is a three-year letterwinner on the men's golf team. He has played 22 rounds this season and has a stroke average of 76.2. Baggett shot 2-under 70 in winning his only career tournament at the Graceland Spring Invitational March 25. He has two top 5 finishes and three top 10 finishes this season.
In his career, Baggett has played 65 career rounds and has a stroke average of 77.1. He has three top 5 finishes and six top 10 finishes overall. His career low score in a round is 69, set in his sophomore season.
Off the course, Baggett is pursuing a degree in business administration. He has been named to the honors list in each of his five completed semesters on the Hill. Baggett has been named to the Dean's List three semesters and the Honor Roll two semesters. He has been active in the school's public service by participating in the Extreme Dome Makeover community service project.
Baggett is the final Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for the 2016-17 school year, joining Kira McGrotty, who was named in September; Alejandro Mentasti, who was honored in October; Dana Kramer, who was named in November, Breanne Begeman, who was named in December; Campbell Millar, who was named in January; Ammuniki Wood, who was named in February; and Paige Bray, who was honored in March.
