Alex Gonzalez Named Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for November

Culver-Stockton College offensive lineman Alex Gonzalez has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for November.

Gonzalez, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound sophomore from Cape Coral, Fla. (Mariner HS), is a two-year starter for the football team. He earned All-Heart of America Athletic Conference honorable mention accolades for his play this past season. Gonzalez was a member of an offensive line that helped the Wildcat offense average 26.8 points per game. C-SC totaled 1,500 yards rushing and 2,199 yards passing during the season.

Off the field, Gonzalez is pursuing a degree in business administration and a minor in marketing. Has named to the Dean's List in both of his completed semesters. Among his activities, Gonzalez has participated in C-SC's Extreme Dome Makeover a community service project that helps clean up the city of Canton and integrates students into the community. He also is a supervisor in the weight room. Upon graduation in 2021, Gonzalez plans to attend graduate school.

Gonzalez is the third Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for the 2018-19 school year. Gabby Hickman (women's volleyball) and Kehley Bitzas (women's soccer) were honored in September and October, respectively.
