
Winn Named October's Student-Athlete of the Month
Culver-Stockton College forward Shelby Winn has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for October.
Winn, a senior from Granite City, Ill. (Granite City HS) is a four-year member of the women's soccer team. She appeared in 40 career games, scoring five career goals for a total of 10 career points. Winn recorded 15 shots on goal and 22 shots overall in her career.
Off the field, Winn is a double major in psychology and criminal justice with a minor in child advocacy studies. In her six completed semesters, Winn has been named to the President's List four times and the Dean's List two times. She is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor Society, the Psi Chi National Honor Society for Psychology and the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.
Among her activities on campus, Winn is a member of the Chi Omega sorority, the Psychology Club, and was the co-lead for the Relay for Life Fundraiser. Upon graduation in May, Winn plans to attend Adams State University to earn a graduate degree in counseling.
Winn is the second Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for the 2019-20 school year. Brody Hassel (football) was named the September honoree.
