Copley Named the Final Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month

Culver-Stockton College men's volleyball player Brian Copley has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for April.

Copley, a senior defensive specialist from Quincy, Ill. (Quincy Notre Dame HS) is a four-year member of the men's volleyball program. In his career, Copley has played in 52 career matches and appeared in 136 career sets. He recorded 122 career digs, garnering a career-high 71 digs in 2019.

Off the court, Copley is pursuing a degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. He has been named to the Dean's List three semesters, the President's List one time and the Honor Roll one semester. Copley is a member of the C-SC Appeals Committee and the Wildcat Athletic Council. He has been inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor Society, the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society, and the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.

Copley is the eighth and final Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for the 2019-20 school year. Brody Hassel (football) was named the September honoree while Shelby Winn (women's soccer) was named in October and Agustin Mosquera (men's soccer) was the November honoree. Thaddeus Newby (men's basketball) was honored in December, Alan Leyva (men's track and field) was selected in January and Ryan Dooley (women's basketball) was named in February. Tyrin Holder (men's track and field) was the named and honored in March.
