Packer Named First Primo's Student Athlete of the Month of 2020-21
Culver-Stockton College libero Ellie Packer has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for September.
Packer, a junior from Davis, Ill. (Dakota HS) is a three-year member of the women's volleyball team who has played in all 28 sets (7 matches) played by the Wildcats this season. She has recorded 167 digs to date, averaging 5.96 digs per set. That mark ranks second in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and 12th in the NAIA. Additionally, Packer has registered a .923 receive percentage this season, committing just 13 errors on 168 serve receptions.
In her career, Packer has appeared in 56 total matches and 178 total sets. She has recorded 561 total digs during her tenure with 39 career service aces. In addition, Packer has a career serve receive percentage of .940. She has added 52 career kills and 38 set assists.
Off the court, Packer is a health science major who plans to pursue a master's degree in athletic training upon graduation. In her free time, Packer works as a game day assistant inside the sports information office helping with social media posts as well as other game day duties. A member of the Chi Omega social sorority, Packer also works in the J.E. & L.E Mabee Recreation and Wellness Center as a desk clerk.
Packer is the first Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for the 2020-21 school year.
