Dalton Myers Recognized as Student-Athlete of the Month for December

Culver-Stockton College bowler Dalton Myers has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for December.

Myers, a junior from Quincy, Ill. (Quincy HS) is in his third season as a member of the men's bowling program. As a sophomore, Myers finished in the Top 25 in three events and finished with a 174 season average for eight events (43 games). Myers placed 16th at the Jayhawk Collegiate in Lawrence, Kan.; 24th in the Hammer Lions Challenge in St. Charles, Mo.; and 25th at the Clarke Invitational in Dubuque, Iowa.

In two events this season, Myers has finished 39th at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge, and 19th at the Storm Navy and Gold Classic in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He rolled a 176 average in 34 games spit between varsity and junior varsity matches as a freshman.

Off the field, Myers is pursuing a degree in business administration. In five completed semesters, Myers has been named to the President's List in four semesters and the Dean's List one semester. In addition, Myers was chosen as the Business Division Student of Promise in 2020, and was inducted in to the Sigma Beta Delta honor society that recognizes academic achievement among students in the fields of business, management, and administration

Myers is the fourth Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for the 2020-21 school year, joining Ellie Packer (women's volleyball), who was recognized in September; Connor Perrine (football), who was named in October; and Saylor Drawe, who was chosen in November.
