Jannin, Fowler Named November's Student-Athletes of the Month

Culver-Stockton College women's soccer player Kirstin Jannin and men's soccer player Adam Fowler have been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student-Athletes of the Month for November.

Jannin, a senior forward from Perryville, Mo. (Perryville HS), was a four-year member of the women's soccer team who played in 64 games in her career. Jannin recorded 24 career goals and nine assists for 57 career points. The 24 goals are fifth-most in program history, while the 57 points is ranked seventh program history. She also registered eight career game-winning goals.

Off the field, Jannin is a sport management and business administration major who is a three-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She was given the Larry Lady Award, a scholarship award given by the Heart of America Athletic Conference. In addition, Jannin earned all-conference honors in 2022, notching third-team honors.

Fowler, a senior defender from Rickmansworth, England (Rickmansworth School), was a four-year member of the men's soccer program, appearing in 57 career game. He registered three career goals, including one game-winning goal, and one assist for seven career points.

Off the pitch, Fowler is pursuing a double major in sport management and business administration. He is a three-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete. Fowler also served as a student assistant coach with the women's program during his time on the Hill.  

Jannin and Fowler are the third Primo's Student-Athletes of the Month for the 2022-23 school year. Rachel Iacobellis (women's soccer) and Cade Coon (men's golf) were honored in September while Veiauna Herman (women's volleyball) and Gavin Moeller (men's bowling) were recognized in October.
