Little, Flores Tabbed as November's Scholar-Athletes of the Month

Culver-Stockton College soccer player McKenna Little, and football player Anthony Flores have been named Primo's Pizza and Subs Student-Athletes of the Month for November.

Little, a senior midfielder from Quincy, Ill. (Notre Dame HS / John Wood CC) is a two-year letterwinner with the women's soccer program. McKenna participated in 36 career matches, making 26 starts, for the Wildcats after transferring from John Wood Community College. She registered six career goals and added four assists for 16 career points during her two seasons.

Off the field, Little is pursuing a degree in business administration. She was named to the President's List in both semesters during the 2022-23 school year. Little was named a 2023 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete at the end of the 2023 campaign. 

Flores, a senior from Ogden, Utah (Ben Lomond HS), is a three-year letterwinner at linebacker for the football team. During the 2023 season, Anthony recorded 43 total tackles, including 26 solo stops, six tackles for loss and an interception.

In his career, Flores garnered 103 career tackles (58 solo) with a season-high of 49 tackles in 2022. He had 12 tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, three interceptions and three passes defended.

Off the gridiron, Anthony is pursuing a degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. He has been named to the President's List three times and the Provost's List twice during his tenure. Flores is also a two-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete. He has served as a First Year Experience leader for two years and is involved with the Fallon Officer Project.

Little and Flores are the third pair of athletes to be named student-athletes of the month for the 2023-24 school year. Kyla Ellis (women's volleyball) and Ruben Reinertsen (men's soccer) were recognized in September while Mackenzie Frizzell (women's soccer) and Craig Bland (men's golf) were honored in October. The Wildcat Athletic Department picks two student-athletes (one male / one female) each month throughout the school year recognizing students for their academic and athletic achievements.
