Culver-Stockton College women's player Maggie Tuxhorn, and men's soccer player Ethan Wilkinson-Felgate have been named Primo's Pizza and Subs Student-Athletes of the Month for December.

Tuxhorn, a junior midfielder from Rochester, Ill., is a three-year starter with the women's soccer program. This season, Tuxhorn started all 19 games, registering one goal and one assist for the Wildcats, who finished 10-7-2 overall.   

In her three year seasons, Tuxhorn has garnered five total goals and three assists in 54 total games. Of her five career goals, four have been game-winning tallies. In 2023, Tuxhorn was named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference team as a third team selection after scoring three goals and adding an assist.

Off the field, Tuxhorn is pursuing a degree in nursing. She has been named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete two times in her career and was a College Communicator's Academic All-District selection in 2023. In addition, Tuxhorn has been named to the school's President's List three times and the Provost's List one time.

Wilkinson-Felgate, a junior midfielder from Johannesburg, South Africa, is a three-year letterwinner who has appeared in 50 career games, making 46 starts. This past season Wilkinson-Felgate played in 17 games, recording two goals on eight shots on frame. In his career, Wilkinson-Felgate has tallied five career goals and added one assist for 11 total points,

In the classroom, Wilkinson-Felgate is pursuing a degree in health science. He has been named to the school's honors lists after all four completed semesters including the President' List three times (4.0 GPA), and the Provost's List one time. He has twice been named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

Tuxhorn and Wilkinson-Felgate join Lauren Bloom (women's volleyball) and Gannon McNamee (men's cross country/track and field) in the month September; Alayna Chandler-Gutierrez (women's soccer) and Demarion Cobb (football) in October; and Ashleigh Brawley (women's volleyball and Rommarrus Hinson (football) in November, as 2024-25 scholar-athletes of the month. The Wildcat Athletic Department picks two student-athletes (one male / one female) each month throughout the school year recognizing students for their academic and athletic achievements.
