Ninth Inning Uprising by William Woods Shocks Wildcats

William Woods scored five times in the bottom of the ninth to overcome a four-run deficit and shock the Culver-Stockton baseball team with a walk-off victory Wednesday afternoon in Fulton, Mo.

The Wildcats began the ninth inning with an 8-4 lead but the Owls pulled together three hits and three walks in the final inning to plate their five runs and post the victory.

C-SC collected 12 hits in the game with Collin Hall, Alex Harbin and Jordan Scott registering two hits each. Dax Flowerree and Brandon Aragon drove in three runs each.

The Wildcats hit three home runs in the game with Harbin and Scott hitting solo shots while Flowerree had a three-run blast.

The Wildcats (4-15) are scheduled to host William Penn University in a four-game series this weekend. With cold and inclement weather expected over the next three days, game dates and times are still to be determined.
