Cheer Team to Hold Tryouts April 15-16
The Culver-Stockton College Cheerleading team will be hosting tryouts April 15th and 16th for the upcoming academic school year.
Tryouts will be held at Charles Field House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Tryout are open to all current and incoming students for Fall 2023.Tryouts will be two days, one a mandatory clinic to learn team material, and the second an official tryout in front of the coaching staff. If you are only able to attend one day, or not at all, accommodations can be made by contacting Head Coach Kaitlin Tait at ktait@culver.edu as soon as possible.
Students of all backgrounds are encouraged to attend (cheerleading, weightlifting, gymnastics. etc.). We are looking for all positions to join the team (flyers, bases, back spots, and tumblers). Students will be scored on jumps, cheers & chants, a sideline dance, stunting, and tumbling (optional but highly encouraged). For more information regarding tryouts please contact Coach Tait.
