Nathan Myers Earns Heart Esports League of Legends Player of the Week
The Heart of America Athletic Conference is excited to announce the fourth Heart of America Athletic Conference Esports League of Legends Player of the Week winner, as Nathan Myers of Culver-Stockton College earned the honor.
Culver-Stockton went 2-0 last week with wins over St. Ambrose and Central Methodist.
According to Culver-Stockton College head coach, Clayton Thomas:
"After the first matchup of the season against Grand View, the Culver-Stockton squad decided to change our positions switching Nathan to mid from adc. This change had Nathan perform at a high level in the game against Missouri Baptist.
With two games in week 4 the team came up with another game plan for the those matches.
In the game against Saint Ambrose, Nathan got to play Syndra, a mage character with huge blowup potential, ending the game with a 24 kda. Culver-Stockton then had a game against Central Methodist. In this contest Nathan played a longer range character Xerath, pushing out Centrals mid lane and roaming with his ultimate to get kills, ending the game with a 14.5 kda. He played to his full potential in these last two games and tried to make his presence as a midlaner for the team."
