Men's Basketball Drops a 74-55 Decision at Home to Graceland

The Culver-Stockton men's basketball team shot 37 percent from the field in a 74-55 Heart of America Athletic Conference loss to Graceland University Wednesday night at Charles Field House.

The Wildcats shot 44 percent from the floor in the opening half but still four themselves trailing 40-31 at the intermission. In the second half, C-SC struggled to score, making just 30 percent of its attempts and was outscored 34-24 in the half.

Meanwhile, the Yellowjackets shot a blistering 57 percent from the field and scored 42 points in the paint as they continually found open players underneath the basket for easy layups.

Robert Fry II led the Wildcat offensive attack with 16 points while Seth Larson chipped in with 10 markers. Jim King came off the bench to notch eight points.

The Wildcats are scheduled to close out the 2022-23 schedule this Saturday, Feb. 18, with a game against Benedictine College. Game time is slated for 4 p.m. at Charles Field House.
