Men's Basketball Goes Cold in Second Half, Concludes Season with Home Loss

The Culver-Stockton men's basketball team concluded the 2022-23 campaign with a 60-49 home loss to Benedictine College Saturday afternoon at Charles Field House.

The Wildcats trailed 32-29 at halftime but shot just 15 percent from the field in the second half, netting just 20 points in the last 20 minutes. C-SC made four field goals at 26 attempts in the final half of the season.

Jalen Blaize closed out his Wildcat career with a team-high 15 points and was the only player to reach double figures. Jim King and Seth Larson each garnered nine points in the game. Larsen grabbed a team-best seven rebounds while King added six caroms.

The Wildcats end the season with a 9-18 overall record and finish 5-17 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
