Wildcats Suffer Road Loss in Heart Opener

The Culver-Stockton College men's basketball team opened Heart of America Athletic Conference play with an 80-53 loss to 12th-ranked MidAmerica Nazarene University Saturday night at the Cook Center in Olathe, Kan.

The Wildcats shot 32 percent from the field, including a dismal 1-for-13 from the 3-point stripe, in dropping to 2-3 overall this season. C-SC was also out-rebounded 53-33 in the game. The Pioneers registered 17 offensive rebounds, leading to 20 second chance points.

Robert Fry II and Connor Davis netted 11 points each to lead the Wildcat scoring. Fry also had seven rebounds and two assists.

The Wildcats return home on Tuesday, Nov. 21, and will face Central Methodist University in a Heart contest at Charles Field House. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
