Road Struggles Continue for Wildcats in Loss to Benedictine

The Culver-Stockton College men's basketball team struggles on the road continued with a 68-57 loss at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan., Saturday afternoon.

All five of the Wildcat losses have come away from Charles Field House this season and Saturday was no different as C-SC matched its season-high in turnovers with 14, leading to 20 Raven points in the loss.

Three players scored in double figures for the Wildcats with Robert Fry II leading the charge with 15 markers. Tai Walters-Whitaker added 12 points, and Frey and Walters-Whitaker each had three assists to lead C-SC.

Nick Spannaus, playing in only his second game after missing all of last year due to an injury, nearly matched his career high in points of 12, ending with 11 off the bench. Spannaus also led the Wildcats with seven rebounds, while Walters-Whitaker grabbed six caroms.

The Wildcats, now 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the Heart, return to Charles Field House this Wednesday, Dec. 6, to begin a three-game homestand against Graceland University. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
