
Wildcats Manage Just 46 Points in Home Loss to Central Methodist
The Culver-Stockton College men's basketball team suffered a 75-46 loss to Central Methodist University in its first home game of 2025 Wednesday night at Charle Field House.
The Eagles built a 45-20 first half lead and was never threatened in handing the Wildcats their second consecutive loss since the turn of the calendar. The Eagles shot 60 percent in the first half while limiting C-SC to 30 percent shooting. The Wildcats made just 15 of their 52 shot attempts (28.8 percent) overall.
The Wildcats, who played without second-leading scorer Ryan Stevenson due to injury, was led by Connor Davis with 15 points. Davis was 5-for 11 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free throw line. Roee Dinnar came off the bench to chip in with 11 points.
The 46 points scored by the Wildcats was the fewest scored by the Wildcats this season and the fewest in a game since a 69-44 setback to Baker University in the final game of the 2018-19 campaign.
C-SC will try to get back in the win column this Saturday, Jan. 11, when it hosts Peru State College at Charles Field House.Tipoff is slated for 2 p.m.
