Men's Bowling Places Two on All-Heart Team

Culver-Stockton College placed two players on the 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Bowling All-Conference team, the league announced Sunday afternoon.

Junior Jake Evitts (Kenosha, Wis. / Indian Trail HS) was named to the second team while senior Mason Will (Odgen, Iowa / Ogden HS / Iowa Central CC) was named as an honorable mention selection.

Evitts competed in eight total events and bowled 40 games this season, averaging a score of 193 pins per game. Evitts averaged 200 or pins per game in two events with his best event being the Five Seasons Classic. In that event, Evitts averaged 208.6 pins and finished with 1043 pins in the five games. Evitts registered three top 25 finishes during the season, including one top five and one top 10.

Meanwhile, Will also competed in eight tournaments and bowled 40 games during the season. Will averaged 182 pinfalls per game, including a recording a 188 average in tier one events. His best tournament was at the Midwest Collegiate Championships at the beginning of the year when he garnered 965 total pins in the five games.

The Wildcats received the automatic bid to the NAIA National Bowling Championships for the winning the Heart of America Athletic Conference title on Sunday. The national tournament will be held March 20-22 at Five Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, Mich.
