Men's Golf Concludes Season with 10th Place Finish at Heart Championships
The Culver-Stockton men's golf team ended the season with a 10th place finish at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships this week at the Preserve on Rathbun Lake Golf Course in Moravia, Iowa.
The Wildcats carded a 54-hole total of 913 (304-307-302) to place 10th out of the 12 conference teams competing in the event. Park University (Mo.) captured the team title with a three-day score of 849.
Individually, Cade Coon was the top finisher for the Wildcats, carding a score of 3-over 219 (71-75-73) to finish in a tie for 20th place. Mateo Quiroga of Missouri Valley was the individual medalist with a 54-hole score of 15-under 201.
Conner Bross finished in a tie for 31st place with a score of 7-over 223 (78-71-74) while Craig Bland finished in tied for 38th place with a score of 12-over 228 (77-76-75).
Brady Walker and Cole Williams finished 56th and 57th overall for the Wildcats. Walker recorded a 54-hole score of 30-over 246 (78-87-81), while Williams managed to shoot 35-over 251 (86-85-80).
