Men's Golf Places Fourth at Park Invitational

The Culver-Stockton College men's golf team recorded a first round total of 36-over 316 to finish fourth behind Baker University, which won the team event with a score of 17-over 297 in the nine team Park Spring Invitational at The Deuce at National Golf Club in Parkville, Mo., Monday. The second round was canceled Tuesday due to unplayable conditions caused by inclement weather.

The Wildcats' Craig Bland carded a 4-over 74 to place fourth overall individually. Bland finished four strokes behind Baker's Ben Lemke who recorded an even par 70 on Monday. Conner Bross earned a top 10 finish by shooting a 6-over 76 to end in a tie for seventh place.

Senior Cade Coon tied for 34th overall with teammate Brevin Wilson who each carded a one day total of 13-over 83. Brady Walker was the fifth member of the Wildcat grouping and he tied for 44th overall with a score of 17-over 87.

The Wildcats are slated to participate in the Knox College Invitational April 13-14 at Soangetaha Country Club in Galesburg, Ill.
