
Men's Golf Competes at Central Fall Classic
The Culver-Stockton College men's golf team participated in the Central College Fall Classic Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 7-8, at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa.
The Wildcats finished 12th among the 12 team competing in the event, shooting teams scores of 352 and 337, respectively, each day to finish 113-over par. Luther (Iowa) won the event with a score of 11-over par.
Individually, Brady Walker was the Wildcats' top finisher, ending at 17-over 161 (83-78) to end in 42nd place. Brevin Wilson finished 48th overall with a two-day score of 18-over 162 (84-78).
Additionally, Jacob Thomas carded a 36-hole score of 34-over 178 with identical rounds of 89 to finish 67th overall. Leighton Meeker ended 68th overall with a score of 44-over 188 with scores of 96 and 92, while Austin Strubbe finished 52-over par with scores of 99-97-196 and in 69th place.
C-SC is scheduled to host the Wildcat Classic this Sunday and Monday, Oct. 13-14, at Spring Lake Country Club in Quincy, Ill.
