Men's Track Earns Three All-Heart Accolades, Place 12th at Indoor Championships

The Culver-Stockton men's track and field team earned three all-conference accolades during the Heart of America Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville Friday and Saturday.

The Wildcats totaled 20 team points and finished 12th among the 12 teams that scored in the event. Benedictine College won the team title with 135.5 points.

Drew Mallett has the best finish among the Wildcat contingent, placing second in the heptathlon with a personal best 4,490 points. Mallett also earned a point in the pole vault with an eighth place finish with a mark of 12 feet, 1 1/2 inches.

Logan Lucas set a school record and earn all-conference honors in the 5000-meter run with a fifth place finish in a time of 15:08.27. 

In the 3000-meter race walk, Kenny Tucker placed fourth and earned all-league honors with a time of 16:20.05. Gannon McNamee placed seventh overall with a time of 18:25.53.
