Men's Volleyball Upended by National-Ranked Missouri Baptist

The Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team opened Heart of America Athletic Conference play with a three-set loss to 13th-ranked Missouri Baptist University Tuesday night in St.Louis, Mo.

The nationally-ranked Spartans held a 44-15 edge in kills in sweeping the league opener 25-8, 25-14, 25-17.

Malachi Gnade registered six of the Wildcats' 15 kills in the match. Jacob Todd tallied four terminations, while Matt Reese and Owen Randle had two kills each.

The Wildcats return to action this Friday, Feb. 3, with a non-conference match at NCAA Division II Maryville University in St. Louis. First serve is slated for 6 p.m.
