Men's Volleyball Dispatched by Maryville in Three Sets

The Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team is still searching for its first victory after a 25-17, 25-10, 25-16 loss to NCAA Division II Maryville University Friday night in St. Louis.

The Wildcats started strong with an 18 percent attacking game in the opening set. However, C-SC was in negative numbers in set number two and registered just two percent in the third set.

Three different players, Jacob Todd, Matt Reese and Owen Randle, led the Wildcats with five kills each. Randle also has seven set assists and three digs.

The Wildcat are slated to play their home opener tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 4, at Charles Field House against Missouri Valley College. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
