Park Overpowers Wildcats in Three Sets

Nationally ranked Park University proved their ranking in a swift three-set sweep over a young and inexperienced Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team Tuesday night at Charles Field House.

The Pirates, ranked eighth in the latest NAIA Top 15 national poll, captured the match by scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-15 to improve to 13-0 overall and 9-0 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The Wildcats fall to 1-12 overall and 1-8 in the league.

Three different players, Jacob Todd, Owen Randle, and Malachi Gnade, all led the Wildcats with five kills each. Matt Reese registered 13 set assists, while Gnade and Drew VonFeldt each recorded a service ace. Aidan McGuire paced the back row with eight digs.

C-SC returns to Charles Field House this Friday night, Feb. 24, to face Saint Ambrose University in a non-conference match. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
