The Culver-Stockton College men's volleyball team lost in three sets to Missouri Valley College in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match Saturday afternoon in Marshall, Mo.
The Vikings posted a 25-14, 25-18, 25-15 victory over the Wildcats to earn a sweep of the season series. C-SC falls to 2-13 overall and 1-9 in the conference, while MVC improves to 9-6 overall and 5-5 in the Heart.
Jacob Todd and Malachi Gnade, who combined for 35 kills in a five-set victory over Saint Ambrose (Iowa) Friday night, managed just five kills each in the loss to the Vikings.
The Wildcats, who recorded just 19 kills in the match, also got four terminations from Charle Schimdt and three kills from Isaiah Robinson. Owen Randle had 10 set assists.
C-SC returns to Charles Field House Tuesday night to battle Graceland University in a Heart of America match. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
