Short-handed Wildcats Fall to Missouri Baptist in Three Sets

A short-handed Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team put up a good fight but couldn't keep up with 15th-ranked Missouri Baptist University Wednesday night at Charles Field House.

The Wildcats, playing without two starters, dropped the match in straight sets, falling 25-13, 26-24, 25-19. 

Jacob Todd registered 12 kills to lead the Wildcats, whoa 24 kills overall. Malachi Gnade recorded four kills, while Aidan McGuire and Charlie Schmidt totaled three terminations each. Schmidt also garnered three service aces.

Things don't any easier fo the Wildcats as they will face two nationally-ranked teams this weekend beginning Friday, March 10, against No. 10 Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
