Statesmen Register Three Set Sweep over Wildcats
The Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team fell to eighth-ranked William Penn University in three sets Saturday afternoon in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
The Statesmen got off to a fast start with a 25-13 victory in the first set, and then polished off the match with a 25-19 second set victory and a 25-23 third set victory.
Jacob Todd continues to play well for the Wildcats, finishing with a team-high eight kills. Malachi Gnade added five terminations while Aidan McGuire totaled four kills. Owen Randle garnered 17 set assists.
The Wildcats continue a three-match road swing with a match at the University of Health Science and Pharmacy this Tuesday, March 14, in St. Louis, Mo. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
