The Culver-Stockton College men's volleyball team gave a valiant effort but was defeated in three sets 25-19, 25-20, 25-17 by 12th-ranked Mount Mercy University at Charles Field House Friday night.
Malachi Gnade led the Wildcat attack with a team-high 12 kills on 29 attempts for a attack percentage of .241. Jacob Todd registered nine kills while Aidan McGuire chipped in with seven terminations. Owen Randle recorded 30 set assists.
The Wildcats will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, March 18, against Clake University at Charles Field House. Game time is slated for 2 p.m. with senior day recognitions beginning just before first serve.
