Men's Volleyball Loses top No. 3 Park in Final Road Match

The Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team concluded its road schedule with a 25-16, 25-13, 25-17 loss to third-ranked Park University Tuesday night in Parkville, Mo.

The Wildcats registered respectable hitting percentages in the first and third set, garnering attack percentages of .182 and .190, respectively. However, C-SC struggled in the second set with seven errors and seven kills for a .000 attack percentage on 29 attempts.

Jacob Todd and Malachi Gnade each recorded seven kills to lead the offense. Todd committed just two attack errors on 15 attempts for a .333 hitting percentage. Gnade had three errors on 20 attempts for a .200 attack percentage.

Owen Randle totaled 19 set assists and Gnade recorded the only service ace of the night for the Wildcats.

Defensively, the Wildcats tallied 22 total digs with Aidan McGuire garnering 10 digs in the back row.

C-SC, which closes the conference slate with a 1-17 league record, is scheduled to play its final match of the 2023 season Wednesday night, March 22, against Ottawa University at Charles Field House. Game time is set for 6:15 p.m.
