Men's Volleyball Suffers Four-Set Loss to No. 3 Park

The Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team took third-raked Park University to four sets before succumbing 25-11, 25-17, 16-25, 25-10 Friday night at Charles Field House.

The Wildcats registered a .360 attack percentage in winning the third set against the Pirates. C-SC hit at .211 in the second set but was in negative numbers in the first and fourth set to finish the night .041 overall.

Malachi Gnade and Zach Kowalewicz led the offense with 10 kills each while Jacob Todd recorded six kills. The Wildcats garnered 30 kills in the match, but Park showed its might with 50 kills overall.

Defensively, Kowalewicz was also stellar at the net, totaling five solo blocks for the Wildcats. C-SC, which had just six team blocks in the match. Wyatt McCulloch and Cikeng Lee totaled five digs each to lead the back row.

The Wildcats are right back to the court tomorrow, Saturday, March 9, to face Graceland University in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.
