UHSP Sweeps Match, Season Series from Men's Volleyball

Malachi Gnade totaled nine kills and three other players registered seven terminations but it was't enough for the Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team to earn a Heart of America Athletic Conference victory Tuesday night at Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, Mo.

The Eutectics, who won the previous meeting in five sets back in February at Charles Field House, needed just three sets to earn the victory Tuesday night, winning 25-20, 25-20 25-22

The Wildcats totaled 36 kills and three service aces overall; however, they also committed 11 service errors and 17 attack errors.

In addition to Gnade offensive exploits, Zach Kowalewicz, Clyde Harold and Henry Reeves all garnered seven kills in the match. Kowalewicz needed just nine attempts and had one error for a .667 attack percentage.

The Wildcats are scheduled to host Missouri Valley College this Thursday, March, 13, at Charles Field House. Game time is slated for 7 p.m. The is a re-scheduled match from Feb. 18.
