
Wildcats Swept by Ottawa; Drop Season Series to Braves
Ottawa University attacked at a nearly 47 percent success rate in sweeping the Culver-Stockton College men's volleyball team 25-17, 25-16, 25-16 Friday night at the Mabee Center in Ottawa, Kan.
The Braves registered 47 kills overall and committed just nine errors on 81 attempts in the match. Meanwhile, the Wildcats recorded 10 more attempts with 91 but had 20 attack errors and 32 kills for a percentage of .132.
Henry Reeves turned in another strong performance for the Wildcats, leading the offense with 12 kills. Reeves had just two errors on 27 attempts for a .370 hitting percentage. Zach Kowalewicz and Rio Victor added five kills each.
The Wildcats are scheduled to conclude the two-day road trip to Kansas with a conference match at Kansas Wesleyan University on Saturday, March 29, in Salina, Kan. The match is slated to start at 1 p.m.
