The Culver-Stockton softball team ended its week at the USSSA Spring Games with losses to Concordia (Mich.) and Lourdes (Ohio) Friday afternoon in Viera, Fla.
The Wildcats collected 10 hits but managed just three runs in a 5-3 loss to Concordia to start the day. The C-SC jumped out to a 2-0 lead against Lourdes before the Gray Wolves plated four unanswered runs in a 4-3 decision.
Baylee Schneider and Rosa Anquiano recorded two hits each in the loss to Concordia. Sophia Ashby added two runs batted in. Against Lourdes, Brylee Throgmorton and Kataleena Hunt garnered two hits for the Wildcats.
C-SC (5-13) is next scheduled to play a doubleheader at William Woods University on Sunday, March 19, in Fulton, Mo. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
