Culver-Stockton College junior Haley Gedros has been named the Musco Heart of America Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week for her play in six games during the week of April 22-28.

Gedros, a middle infielder from Winfield, Kan. (Winfield HS / Allen CC), batted a team-leading .579 with 11 hits in 19 at-bats during the Wildcats' 4-2 week. Among her 11 hits were two doubles and one triple, she registered six runs batted in and scored seven times. Additionally, Gedros hit safely in all six games and had three multiple hit games and two multiple RBI games during the week. Defensively, Gedros did not commit an error in 18 chances while playing second base or shortstop during the week.

For the season, Gedros started 34 of the 41 games in which she appeared and batted .327 with five doubles, five triples and 12 runs batted in. She scored 18 times, walked three times, and stole five bases on nine attempts.

The Wildcats concluded the 2024 campaign with an 18-32 overall record and a 7-17 mark in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
