Women's Bowling Finishes 17th at Intercollegiate Team Sectionals

The Culver-Stockton women's bowling team ended its season at the Intercollegiate Team Sectionals played at the Stardust Bowl in Addison, Ill., March 11-12.

The Wildcats registered 10,543 total pins in 64 baker games to finish 17th out of the 17 competing teams. C-SC averaged 164.7 pins per game over the weekend.

The Wildcats garnered 2,543 total pins in the first 16-game block of  baker games Saturday morning. C-SC was better in the afternoon and finished the day with a 2,733 pins in the second block to end the day at 5,276 total pins.

On Sunday, the Wildcats opened the day with 2,768 Toal pins in the third block before finishing the tournament with 2,499 total pins.

On Friday, two players competed in the Intercollegiate Singles Sectional qualifier at Stardust Bowl. Kassidy Young placed 22nd overall with 1,150 total pins in six games. Young, who averaged 191.7 pins per game, rolled a high game of 266 in the third game.

Jasmine Saunders also competed in the singles sectional and placed 68th overall with 1071 total pins. Saunders averaged 178.5 pins per game.
