Moore Makes Second All-Tournament Team; Women Bowlers Place Fifth at Five Seasons Classic

Rachel Moore averaged 217.4 pins in five team games to place third overall and earn her second all-tournament team accolade of the season to help the Culver-Stockton women's bowling program place fifth at the Five Seasons Classic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Moore rolled games of 200 or more in all five games and finished with a 1,087 series. Moore rolled games of 206, 201, 235, 221 and 224 to finish 44 pins out of second and 50 pins behind first.

As a team, the Wildcats registered 8,079 total pins over the two-day span, totaling 4,445 pins in the five team games, an average of 889 per game, and registering 3,634 pins in 20 games, an average of 181.7 pins per game. Mount Mercy won the event with 9,583 total pins.

In addition to Moore, Madi Shontz garnered 932 total pins in five team games, averaging 186.4 per game, to place 27th overall, and Jasmine Saunders finished 33rd overall with 906 total pins or an average of 181.2.

Jersey Lessenger rolled an 898 in five team games for an average of 179.6 pins per game, to finish 35th overall, while Rilee Allen was 80th overall with a five-game total of 622, an average of 124.4 pins per game.

The Wildcats are slated to return to action Nov. 11-12, at the Leatherneck Classic in Moline, Ill. The tournament will take place at the Highland Park Bowl.
