
Wildcats Compete in Quincy Invitational
In its final tune up before the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament, the Culver-Stockton women's golf team shot a 185-over par team score to finish behind Quincy University in the Quincy Invitational at Quincy Country Club Monday and Tuesday.
The Wildcats carded a 378 on Monday and a 383 on Tuesday to finish with a total team score of 761 overall. Quincy carded a two day total of 661 (328-333) to end the tournament at 85-over par as a team.
Individually, Hannah Matrisch paced the Wildcats with a 35-over 179 (90-89) to place fifth overall. Emily Grodjesk placed sixth overall with a 36-hole total of 36-over 180 (92-88). Natalie Ames finished 10th overall with a score of 50-over 194 (91-103), while Allie Hayden carded a two-day score of 64-over 208 (105-103). Kyndall Crim placed 12th with a score of 78-over 222 (110-112).
The Wildcats are scheduled to participate in the Heart of America Tournament next Monday and Tuesday, April 22-23, at the Preserve on Rathbun Lake in Moravia, Iowa.
